Johnnie Mac - Busking Legend
Busker World has been created by Johnnie Mac, an experienced Busker who has toured the world using the money he has earned through Busking.
The art of busking is something you cannot learn in school or university (technically speaking), It is a skill that is mastered through knowledge and experience and whilst I cannot teach you the skills that come from practical experience, what I can do is share the knowledge I have gained during my fifteen years busking experience in many corners of the globe.
My family and friends all laughed when I said I was going to busk my way around the world. They told me not to throw away my career and to remain in my well paying, full-time job. They said that no one would be interested in an unknown Aussie guy playing original music on an acoustic guitar. They told me I would have to do something incredibly unique and exciting to succeed.
A few months later, I – just your average Aussie guy playing his own music on an acoustic guitar, had busked from Australia to London to Amsterdam to France to Eastern Europe to Spain (and the list goes on) making more money than any of my friends were earning in full time employment.
I was travelling the world, meeting amazing people, making new friends, getting job offers and living the life of my dreams doing what I love to do – creating music and performing live.
Over the years, I have made many busking mistakes and learnt the rules – sometimes the hard way. With the benefit of my experience, now you can learn the easy way – in your own home.
The tips and advice that I offer you at BuskerWorld.com will help to show you that ANYONE can be a very successful busker. And believe it or not, that includes you. Just like myself and many other professional buskers I have met on my travels, you could earn a lucrative income and enjoy a relaxed and fun filled lifestyle if you, first and foremost, know what you want, and secondly, know how to do it.
