BuskerWorld has over 2000 visitors a month and is now getting many visits from talent scouts, reality shows and the corporate sector, who are looking to create a buzz around their products, shops, launches, sporting clubs, etc by employing buskers for a day or 2, or an hour or 2!

We select our featured artists (Busker of the Month) from those who send us a story of their favorite or most memorable busking moment.

The reason we do it this way is because your stories will help other street performers to gain some tips and advice from people other than just Johnnie Mac!

Your contribution will not only help our BuskerWorld network to keep expanding, but more importantly it will help to raise the profile of the down trodden busker and inspire those who are thinking of busking but haven’t quite taken the plunge. Best of all… it will give us all something to relate to, smile, laugh or cringe about.

If you’ve read my blogs, then you may already know that the Busker of the Month idea was something that popped up during my ‘Great Aussie Outback Busk’ and now that the monthly feature is actually online and active, it feels great to have started involving others, promoting and supporting buskers worldwide.

Oh and by the way, that’s why I originally called the website Busker – World as corny as it may sound – my intentions were well meaning!
